Why Choose Concierge PT?
Pain not only keeps you from your favorite activities, but can ruin your mood around your family, impact your mental health, and make your day-to-day tasks tougher.
We get it because we love our workouts and hobbies too. We aren't satisfied with being told to stop doing them.

we created the athlete house to keep active people, active.

When you choose to work with us, you're going to get superior results, faster than working with insurance based PT. You don't need to spend weeks waiting for a doctor's referral only to receive 15 minutes of shared attention, do the same basic exercises you can find on google, and sit on an ice pack 3 days a week.

Give us a call and we will get you on the path to pain-free within the next week, guaranteed.
Services
PT like you've never seen it before - and that's why it works.
The insurance PT model is simply not good enough. Your insurance ruins the quality of service you receive and gets to dictate when your time in PT is over. We believe there is a better way.

Performance Physical Therapy
No matter if your injury occurred yesterday or you've finally decided you're done letting that nagging pain control your life, we will meet you wherever you are on your journey and make sure you are fully prepared to get back to doing what you love, stronger than ever. We offer dry needling, cupping, scraping, as well as other techniques to get you out of pain and back in action - faster than any of our competition.

Performance Training + PT Hybrid
We grew frustrated hearing about youth athlete injuries and the lack of quality injury prevention programs - so we decided to do something about it! This program (modeled after the care world class athletes recieve at exos) provides 12-weeks of strength/performance programming plus 3 in-person PT sessions with will swann, a sports certified doctor of physical therapy and former strength and conditioning coach at purdue university. This membership program will meet your athlete at whatever level they are, and help them elevate their performance and resilience to injury. Want to find out more? FAQs
If you've never heard of concierge PT - it's your lucky day! Below are some common Q&As.
If you're still unsure, book a free consult phone call and we will answers all your questions - no commitment necessary!
What is concierge physical therapy?
In order to give the most optimal care, The Athlete House does not accept insurance. This enables our therapists to guarantee each patient receives optimal care each and every appointment. However, most insurance companies will provide reimbursement for services received "out of network," meaning you can submit documentation of your appointments (which will be provided to you) to your insurance for possible reimbursement. You can also pay for services with an HSA, FSA, or HRA. This process also means you will always be 100% aware of how much you owe for each appointment, with no surprise bill showing up in the mail months later.
Won't I spend more than going traditional PT? (YOU MAY BE SURPRISED)
Fee-for-service physical therapy has proven to be more efficient at getting patients better faster AND cheaper than traditional PT. By the time you get in to see your primary (waiting an hour for a five minute exam and referral to PT... yikes), plus meeting your deductible, paying your co-pay each session, AND THEN receiving a huge bill later... the insurance model is just death by a thousand paper cuts - and a ton of lost time while you're still hurting! At The Athlete House, we realize every day spent in pain is a day you can't do what you love. Because of this, we guarantee 1-on-1 care for your full hour appointment with the same PT, every time. This means you'll get the same amount of time with your Doctor in just 6 visits as if you went to a traditional setting 24 times! You'll save time, money, and ensure your full recovery faster than the traditional model can provide. This is how PT should be.

How do I get reimbursed from my insurance company?
The process is surprisingly simple and depends upon your insurance policy. Your therapist will provide you with an invoice at the time of service that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. This invoice will have all necessary information needed for reimbursement and you may submit it to your insurance after each visit, one time per month, or any other interval up to one year following a visit. Depending on your plan, your insurance will then pay you directly.
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
Absolutely not! This is one of the best aspects of cash-based physical therapy. Since you do not need a referral, you will save both time and money that would be spent getting in to see your primary care provider (who would probably see you for less than 5 minutes, unfortunately). Don't worry! We are trained to identify issues that may warrant seeing a physician and will help you accordingly.
What is your new patient procedure?
Everyone starts off with a free phone consultation to make sure we are the right fit to help you (if not, we will point you in the direction of someone better suited!) If we determine we are a good match, you will come in for an initial evaluation. This appointment will last an hour and will include a thorough process to evaluate your current impairments, a movement screen to identify any movement dysfunctions that could lead to future injury, and begin treatment to alleviate your pain. Afterwards, your therapist will come up with a plan of care including how many follow-up sessions will be necessary to not only eliminate your pain, but also fix the root cause so it does not return.
About The Athlete House
The Athlete House was founded by Dr. David Aulick; a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy and EXOS Performance Specialist. He completed his undergraduate and doctoral education as well as a Sports Residency at the University of Kentucky. He completed a large part of his education at EXOS, a world renowned PT and performance training facility that specializes in training NFL combine invitees as well as the United States Special Forces.
Doc David created The Athlete House because he realized the profession he fell in love with is part of an inefficient, broken system. To cut to the chase, insurance continues to dictate what happens in the traditional PT model. Therapists are forced to see multiple patients every hour; limiting the time and subsequently the quality of care they can provide to each patient. Ultimately, the traditional model means patients spend more money, more time, and are in pain longer than necessary. He decided it was time for a change, and thus, The Athlete House was born.

Patients of The Athlete House have quickly realized that this is the way physical therapy should be. Because of the rapid growth, The Athlete House has welcomed Dr. Becca Moll, PT, DPT and Dr. Will Swann PT, DPT, CSCS, SCS to the family! Read more about our team by clicking below!
